Work Overview
This is a folk song and so the instrumentation can vary according to what is available. The melody of the song has been notated along with the chords. It was written for my friend Ragnheidur Olafsdottir (or Rani for short) who is a terrific Icelandic folk singer. She bought a bodhran (Irish drum) at the national Folk Festival one year and so I wrote this tune for her.
