The ideal performance site for this work would be on a beach at dawn - the sound of the flute and the incoming tide become one.

Commission note: Commissioned with funds provided by Australia Council.. The piece 'Calling In The Turtles' is from the site specific work VULTURE CULTURE commissioned in this version by the Australia Council in 1987 - original commission was for the Henley Festival 1984.
