Work Overview

Composed for conventional instruments using the 43 tone per octave scale devised by the American composer Harry Partch. The title is taken from his book 'Genesis of a music'.

Work Details

Year: 2006

Instrumentation: Midi keyboard & computer, clarinet in B flat, trombone, cello. Also requires laptop computer and amplification; "VSampler" or "Soundfont" files available from composer.

Duration: 20 min.
