Instrumentation: 2 flutes, oboe, 3 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet in B flat, 2 alto saxophones, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, bassoon, horn in F, 2 trumpets in B flat, trombone, euphonium/tuba, timpani, side drum, bass drum, glockenspiel.
Duration: 2 min.
Difficulty: Easy — Junior level concert band (1-2 years' experience).
For students with limited technique. In ABA form, with a middle section that introduces certain percussive effects such as clapping and foot stomping in order to extend students' rhythmic accuity.
Chosen as Test piece for the National Musicorp Adelaide Band and Orchestra Festival, September 2001.
