Work Overview

Conversations in trees at dawn, depicts the morning song of two birds. As the birds slowly wake and begin their song, they sing in harmony to complement each other, but they also sing to compete with each other and to show off their talent. The music should convey a feeling of joy and celebration.

Difficulty: Medium — AMEB Grade 7 and above. Straight forward traditional notation. Requires a very steady rhythm for second half and moves quickly.
