With permission & protocols from the Narungga Aboriginal Progress Association, this song uses the only known traditional Narungga song text. It is about gathering quandongs and is interpreted with verses in English based on Auntie Josie Agius's reminiscences of bush tucker from the 1940s.
Instrumentation: SSATTBB choir, traditional percussion (possum-skin drum pad), optional guitar.

Dedication note: Performers are requested to acknowledge Narungga language, land and people in line with information given in the score, and preferably also to communicate with them.
