Beautiful Work

Posted by Peter Sheridan [] on 28 January, 2013

This short composition is a true gem. The opening flourish resolves into a delicious mysterious and syncopated dialogue for the clarinets. Excellent writing is a fine balance of tension and release. A fine addition to any level recital. Lyrical, heart-felt and sincere writing. A beautiful recorded performance can be heard by Phillipa Robinson and Richard Rouke in the AMC library. This piece also may make a fine transcription for other Woodwind instruments with the composers permission.
