Work Overview
This short piece uses 12-tone technique in a non-traditional manner that sees the row presented linearly contrasted with repeating chordal structures. In fact there are three types of textures (single notes, chords and fast scalic passages) which unify the music and cover a wide dynamic range. The title refers to the various flashing flecks of colour present in opals.
