Work Overview

This work was written as a playful exercise in boarque style - to sound like a piece discovered in an upstairs room! To record it, professional equipment was in fact placed in an upstaris attic room of a North Sydney house, hence it can be said to have received its first performance 'in the attic'.

— Derek Strahan
