Work Overview
The film was created with edited archival footage of circus and circus-like happenings from the 1920s to 1940s. I'm a film maker as well as a composer and I edited the film to create a quirky and slightly dark take on our circus past. The footage was largely sourced from the Australian Film and Sound Archive. The music was written to be performed as a live accompaniment to the film however it can be performed alone.
