Work Overview
Doing the Suss & Sassy Sway was commissioned by James Nightingale for the 2015 Saxophone Academy of Sydney Summer School. Designed as a recital showpiece for advanced HSC and undergraduate saxophonists, it is also a personal farewell to life in inner-city Sydney. Various historical and 'urban' styles are integrated to create a tributary frolic which ably shows off the performers.
