Work

Mantra for the Y Generation : for TTBB male chorus, piano and percussion

by Dan Walker (2007)

Work Overview

This rhythmic and jazzy work is a tongue-in-cheek jab at the Y Generation. The rollicking piano part and drum lines lock in a Grusin-style jazz band feel, while the text refers to the pleasures and leisures of this generation. This piece would suit a good High School or University all-male group.
