Work Overview
This work is the finale taken from a series of pieces written in conjunction with Maxed Out workshop participants from the 2010 Moorambilla Festival. It is an uplifting work that celebrates the beauty and contrast of the Australian outback. It is dedicated to the wonderful Liz Markey, who was a long-time supporter and prominent figure within the Moorambilla community who passed away from cancer in early 2011.
