Instrumentation: 2 flutes (2nd doubles piccolo/alto flute), 2 oboes (2nd doubles cor Anglais), 2 clarinets in B flat (2nd doubles bass clarinet), 2 bassoons (2nd doubles contrabassoon), 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, harp, piano (doubling celeste), timpani, percussion (3 players), strings (10.8.6.5.3).
