Work Overview
Carousel was inspired by the beautiful photographic image
"Carousel Horse" by Kamau Omowale.
When I first saw the image at deviantART, I felt a very real urge
to bring it to life through music. Kamau graciously granted me
permission to do so and we were hoping to embark upon other such
projects together. Sadly, the dream of a professional partnership
marrying my music to his imagery was not to be realised. Kamau
passed away on 15 May 2013.
