Work Overview
The title refers to the meeting and crossing of lines that fleetingly cut through each other's paths and continue on their journey. These lines, in the form of musical material, recur later in the course of the work, like a familiar pattern heard in a new context. A similar thing also occurs on a vertical axis through the overlapping of harmonic constellations and a momentary collision of material in the form of dense aggregates condensed into a short space of time.
