In this work, as with others, I am concerned with the audio perception of the instruments' sound source and mechanism. The accordion bellows can be imagined as a minature version of the screens, placed next to each other with small distances between them.
The work can be performed in a staged or concert version.
Year: 1986, this version: 1988
Instrumentation: Piano accordion, 6 black screens, stage lighting.
Duration: 10 min.
Difficulty: Advanced — choreographed movement combined with playing instrument
First performance: by Udo Auch — 1998. Musikhochschule Koeln
Experimental music theatre influenced by Kagel and Schnebel
Selected for the ISCM World Music Days Oslo 1990.
