Work Overview

'Vent' - opening that allows for movement of air into a confined space. (Eng.) 'Vent' - wind (Fr.)

The combination of woodwind instruments and accordion seemed to offer many interesting possibilities as far as their timbres are concerned. A further source of ideas came from an analysis of recordings I made during an exhibition of flags mounted outdoors at Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart.
