Sheet Music: Score
Inno a Dumuzi : per controtenore e pianoforte / Katia Tiutiunnik.
by Katia Tiutiunnik (2012)
Inno a Dumuzi for countertenor and piano is one of a series of compositions I conceived as a consequence of my long standing engagement with the religious literature of ancient Mesopotamia. In composing Inno a Dumuzi, my intention was to create a symbolic form portraying the religious experiences, which, in ancient Mesopotamia, found expression in the cult of the great Sumerian goddess Inanna and her beloved spouse Dumuzi.
