Product details

The title Mahdoom is an Arabic passive participle which signifies the state of being "destroyed", "demolished" and "razed to the ground". The symbolic dimension of Mahdoom is inspired my vision of "an angel of death", standing alone in a landscape of apocalyptic devastation. I believe this image to be an apt metaphor for the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual destruction of the lives of children as a direct result of terror, in all its forms.
