Work Overview

My writing has been informed by a playing knowledge of the Bach solo sonatas, Paganini caprices, and the Ysaye sonatas for solo violin. In some ways I was not sure of how to categorise this work, tempted to describe it as a "Concerto for Solo Violin, Alone".
