This is a rudimental study in 6/8, with flams and double-stroke rolls (based on sixteenth-note movement), the musical effect of which is a lilting feel typical of 6/8. The title is a play on the English word 'minute', and in this case means 'small' as the piece takes more than 60 seconds to play.
