Thursday 28 April at 8pm Brodsky Quartet and Katie Noonan (direct broadcast from Brisbane). Inspired by the evocative poetry of Judith Wright, Katie Noonan and the Brodsky Quartet perform specially commissioned works by Australian composers including Iain Grandage, Richard Tognetti, Katie Noonan, Carl Vine, David Hirschfelder, Andrew Ford, Elena Kats-Chernin, Paul Grabowsky, Paul Dean and John Rodgers. This is an exquisite, spine-tingling performance of world-class proportion, with a distinctly Australian voice.

Making Waves

Making Waves is a monthly series of curated playlists streaming one hour of quality, new composed music. Founded in 2015, Making Waves shines a spotlight on the music of Australian composers. Fresh playlists are released on the first day of each month.

In April, composers featured on Making Waves include Jessica Wells, Katy Abbott Kvasnica, Mark Wolf, Paul Ballam-Cross, Eli Simic-Prosic, Mark Holdsworth, and Kezia Yap.

Making Waves playlists are curated by Lisa Cheney and Peggy Polias.
