Event Details
The CSO’s final Llewellyn Series concert for 2009 sees the return of Chief Conductor Nicholas Milton to the podium, and the world premiere of a reworked version of Port Essington by Australian master Peter Sculthorpe. Emma-Jane Murphy (cello) takes the stage for the beloved Cello Concerto by Elgar before the evening concludes with the stunning melodic creations of Sibelius in his Symphony No 2 in D major.
