Sydney and Adelaide electronic duo Collarbones are coming to the Sound Lounge for a unique AV collaboration with Paris-based artist Michael Salerno. In September 2012, Collarbones released “Die Young”, their SMAC-nominated sophomore album of glitched vocal R&B, accompanied by haunting album art and a film by Salerno. Salerno’s film, shot in the Swedish fall, depicts three ghostly boys in a spectacular, frozen limbo. In an intimate, late night set, Collarbones will realise “Die Young” live in full for the first time in tandem with an extended version of Salerno’s visuals.
