Event Details
Crossing Roper Bar is a series of musical exchanges which have been taking place between the Wagilak songmen on Ngukurr in South Arnhem Land and the Australian Art Orchestra, since 2004. Based on the traditional Manikay song cycles, these improvised extended works are a result of this ongoing dialogue. As a result, no two performances are ever the same.
