It’s our 10th Birthday and we’re having a party! The decorations are up, the cake is in the oven, and we’ve invited our favourite people to recreate some favourite moments from the past decade. This March, join Dots+Loops for REWIND, presented as part of ΩHM Festival. We’re hitting rewind on our old family tapes and replaying some of our favourite memories. So gather by the TV for a set of audio-visual performances you couldn’t get enough of the first time around. Pamela Z’s "Attention" suspends us in hypnotic contemplation, Oliver Brown’s "Alexa, Write Me Some Music" hits us with a little nostalgia and a heavy dose of the absurd, and Kate Moore’s "Fatal Strangers" has us in a trance and reliving our clubbing days, paired perfectly with newly created animations by Helena Papageorgiou, It wouldn’t be a party without party games, and thankfully our besties Nonsemble have them covered! They’re taking us right back to where it all started and playing Chris Perren’s "Go Seigen vs. Fujisawa Kuranosuke", an epic exploration of a championship game of 'Go' with visuals by Jaymis Loveday immersing the room in the game’s play. And of course, every good party must end on the dance floor. So join us in the Powerhouse Bar for an afterparty featuring a DJ set by the fabulous HipHopHoe as we boogie the night away. We are thrilled to have made it here, through 10 fantastic years of Dots+Loops, and to celebrate this milestone there’s nothing we’d like more than spending it with all our best friends – that includes you

TICKETS

To make sure everyone can join in, tickets are Pay-What-You-Can-Afford, no minimum. We encourage those of you with the means to do so to pay more, enabling us to put this event on while keeping it accessible to those in our community who may be experiencing financial difficulties. If it is within your means, our suggested ticket price is $40. Every little bit helps support Meanjin/Brisbane's vibrant arts community and the amazing artists in the Dots+Loops family.

ACCESSIBILITY

Brisbane Powerhouse is fully wheelchair accessible. This event will be a mix of theatre-style seating and floor area for standing or sitting. Accessible seating options are available for wheelchair users and disabled patrons. Please notify the Box Office of your requirements at the time of booking, a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
