Music inspired by nature & the elements
Featuring the world premiere of a newly commissioned work for String Quartet by Dr Philip Eames, based on three of Oodgeroo Noonuccal's short stories from the Old Dreamtime. In partnership with Redland Performing Arts Centre and Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation, Black Square Quartet will be joined by Waangenga Blanco of Bangarra Dance Theatre, and the students of Dunwich State School, who will help bring Oodgeroo's Dreamtime stories to life.
