Ensemble Liaison : Port Fairy Spring Music Festival
One of Melbourne's most popular chamber music groups, Ensemble Liaison returns to the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival for a wide-ranging program, based around Beethoven's Trio Op. 38, the composer's own arrangement of his popular Septet in E flat major. Elena Kats Chernin and Benjamin Britten offer distinctive flavours of nostalgia, before the rhapsodical conclusion of Monti's Czardas.
