Galaxstare stretches musical boundaries and displays a highly interactive version of contemporary jazz, drawing on electronica, soul, world and avant-garde influences. Led by saxophonist Richard Maegraith, the impressive line-up of musicians includes recent winner of the prestigious National Jazz Award for voice, Kristin Berardi who has returned to Sydney for this special event.
