This summer over 3,000 flutists, composers, flute scholars, flute makers, publishers and all manner of flute enthusiasts descend on Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas for the 40th Annual National Flute Association Convention. The US premiere of Matthew Hindson’s flute concerto House Music highlights the week’s programming at the gala concert on Saturday 11 August.
Ransom Wilson leads Alexa Still with the Ruby Gala Orchestra through the performance of House Music, a reflection of the composer’s love and exploration of electronic dance music.
