Modern, swinging jazz guitar.
Winner of the 2014 National Jazz Awards at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz, Carl Morgan released his debut album Stone in 2012 and his band became known around the eastern states for their energetic live performances. This quartet is a continuation of the Stone project and will feature 2016 National Jazz Awards winner Mike Rivett. Backed up by the A team rhythm section of Sam Anning and Ben Vanderwal, this will be a high energy performance featuring intricate compositions, blistering solos, edge of your seat drumming and heart stopping bass lines.
