Event Details
Two of Melbourne’s pre-eminent world music acts come together in a double-bill concert of sublime original music. Expect to hear transcendent melodies, intricate rhythms, quiet moments of contemplation and mesmerising grooves played on unusual instruments. Invention in Time will also be launching their third CD Falling by Design, featuring Kate Adam (marimba) and Ariel Valent (vibraphone). From softly undulating dreamscapes to soaring jazz solos, the collection of nine thoughtfully constructed compositions is inspired by the Australian landscape.
