Obsessed with the mythology surrounding the Italian madrigalist, Volta Collective and Kiln present Nothing but a Raucous Instrument; a new theatrical work about the man whose seemingly stillborn innovations ignited the twentieth century after being shelved for three hundred years. With a quartet of instruments at the parameters of exploration, an actor, a soprano and bold design, Nothing but a Raucous Instrument mines man and myth.
