Quiver is a group of young musicians who are quickly establishing themselves at the forefront of contemporary music in Melbourne. Quiver are passionate about contemporary art music, experimental improvisation and interdisciplinary practice. The four core players are also co-directors who share a dedication to innovative programming and close composer-performer collaboration.

Their second Quiver event presents a program investigating the relationship between sound and colour. The concert will include the Australian premiere of two chamber works by Rebecca Saunders, Alvin Lucier's rarely performed The Queen of the South for players, responsive surfaces, strewn material and closed-circuit television systems and miniatures created by 'Quiver' in collaboration Anthony Magens live projections.

Performers: Aviva Endean (clarinets), Rebecca Lane (flutes), Matthias Schack-Arnott (percussion), Luke Paulding (piano/tuba), Jess Fotinos (harp), Zach Johnston (violin), Dale Gorfinkel (trumpet and vibraphone), Samual Dunscombe (live electronics), Anthony Magen (live projections)
