Event Details
Memories of the Aboriginal dreamtime, of smokey jazz clubs, of a youthful summer dancing in a rainstorm, of a life spent well or not, and most of all - of peace. This is a chamber music and lieder recital of great composers at their most brilliant hour. Held in the historical and intoxicating Jubilee Room of the NSW Parliament House, the ticket price of $40/$25 includes a full supper and drinks at interval and at the concert's conclusion at 9.30pm. If you can't make it, come to the Sydney Conservatorium on Sun 11 November at 3pm to hear the same sublime program.
Featured non-Australian music: Mower, Strauss, Mahler, Vaughan Williams, Piazolla, Khachaturian
