Event Details
ELISION performs music referencing cities real and imagined, the mythological and utopian
From Troy and Melos to Dis and Adocentyn, this program presents sonic visions of cities as sacred and urban places that promise life and hope, yet experience the disturbances of history that all too often marr and disrupt civilisation.
ELISION is Australia’s premiere new music ensemble, comprised of sixteen virtuoso musicians living in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Cologne, Bern and Singapore.
Featured non-Australian music: Richard Barrett; Alessandro Solbiati; Aaron Cassidy; Matthew Sargeant
