This acclaimed modern flamenco dance and music ensemble works at the forefront of Flamenco, jazz and world music in Australia. Celebrated for their unique Australian interpretation of the powerful music and dance form ‘flamenco’, Bandaluzia have thrilled audiences nationally and internationally with their blend of passion and virtuosity. Led by ARIA-nominated virtuoso flamenco guitarist Damian Wright, the ensemble features Dance Australia Magazine's "Most Outstanding Dancer of 2013" Flamenco star Jessica Statham, Freedman fellowship winner and National Jazz Awards finalist Ben Hauptmann on Mandolin, and brilliant percussionist James Hauptmann.
