Event Details
Coriole Vineyard opens its doors for an exclusive day of chamber music, accompanied by fine food and wine.
The morning concert features some of Australia’s finest chamber musicians, including James Cuddeford, Geoffrey Collins, Peter Handsworth and Gabriella Smart performing the music of Boulez, Brett Dean, Tan Sun, Hanna Kulenty and a world premiere by David Harris.
The festival concludes in the afternoon with a performance of Schoenberg’s masterpiece Pierrot Lunaire, conducted by Constantine Koukias, Artistic Director of IHOS Opera and featuring Greta Bradman, soprano. Presented in association with Coriole Vineyard.
Featured non-Australian music: 'Anthemes' by Pierre Boulez; new work by David Harris; 'C-A-G-E' by Tan Dun; 'A Fourth Circle' by Hanna Culenty; and, 'Pierrot Lunaire' by Arnold Schoenberg.
