This event will feature a performance of Catherine Likhuta's Me Disagrees for wind ensemble, as part of the composer's two-day residency at UConn.
In recognition of the anniversaries of the African American and Asian American Cultural Centers, the Wind Ensemble presents pieces by Chen Yi, Adolphus Hailstork, and William Grant Still. Music of David Maslanka and Catherine Likhuta will also be on the program.
