Sheet Music: ScoreFirst encounters : for beginner guitar ensemble & teacher / R. Charlton.by Richard Charlton (1988)
|
Product details
This piece was written in 1988 for a beginner guitar group at Ascham School, Sydney, to celebrate the Australia's bicentennial. It is designed to be performed by a teacher (or advanced student) and a group of relative beginners. The teacher should conduct or cue from the score and while the student parts are very simple the aim is to develop good ensemble skills. The piece is meant to reflect the first encounters between whites and aboriginals and the titles of the individual sections are self-explanatory.
