Contents note: 'La caccia' - a simulated forest of birdcalls ; 'Hunting crows'. a co-production with the Media School of the University of Technology, Sydney, takes shooters' jargon for crow hunting and gives it a sardonic twist to show that the sportsman's lingo is a thin disguise for violence in general ; 'A beginner's guide to attracting birds' - a tone poem for radio, in which the American composer draws on his archives and fresh acoustic sources to find sounds which suggest the presence otherwise.
