Product details
A long and devastating drought in south-eastern Australia ended in 2020. A desolate landscape, empty, brown, grassless, with inescapable dust and remorseless blue skies, was transformed. As the rain began to fall and the land started its recovery, brown turned to green, trees renewed their leaves, birds returned, crops flourished and animals could be once again seen grazing in their paddocks.
What had been feelings of despair, were replaced first by tentative hope, then urgency to take best advantage of the new conditions, and finally some level of (at least temporary) contentment.
The land has an amazing capacity to recover from damage, both natural and human induced. But for how much longer?
