'Vodka' appears in act 1, scene 5 of Charody's circus opera 'The Carnival'

"After being accosted by The Carnival's ringmaster, Orlenda, and told she must embark on a journey to find The Carnival's missing Firebird and save Carnival Island, Lucy collapses and says she can't go on. She begs the heavens for a way out and just when she's about to launch into an emotional aria, Lucy and her new sidekick Freckle are swooped upon by The Baltic Ballerina Bats of The Vodka Loft whom fly with the pair to their loft inside a beached vodka bottle on Carnival Island.

Lucy's attempts to communicate with the dizzy bats is hopeless. They aren't in the slightest bit concerned about the missing Firebird and the impending doom looming over Carnival Island, they're only interested in worshipping their 'Goddess of Kindness', their 'Saint of Pleasure', their vodka.

Having eventually fallen victim to The Bats' encouragement to embrace their 'Empress of Pleasure', Lucy begins to loosen up. The tumultuous chaos comes to a climax when Lucy, believing she can fly like the bats, jumps high in the air from the trapeze on which she is perched. However, her deluded flying abilities send her crashing headfirst into the pool of vodka below. The jubilant bats jump in after her. Having enjoyed a euphoric swim, a spiral of water forms. Lucy and the bats circle round, and (like a toilet) are flushed out the base of the bottle".
