Work Overview
Commissioned by the Chamber Choir of the Church of St Simon & St Jude in Bowral, in regional NSW; the Communion Service of the Incarnation was written for use at Christmas time and is based on the tunes of numerous famous Christmas and Advent carols, often sung simultaneously. The setting is full of the joy of the season, and it is hoped choirs and congregations will enjoy it.
Organ registrations are given in the accompaniment, but should be used as a guide to the mood and style of the music. Each organist will vary these to suit their instrument.
