Work

Where Go The Boats? : for children's choir and piano

by Heather Percy (2018)

Work Overview

Where Go the Boats? is a musical setting of Robert Louis Stevenson's poem for two-part treble choir with piano accompaniment. The undulating arpeggio piano accompaniment captures the flow of the river as it carries the childrens' boats downstream. Chord cluster bursts add tonal colour and musical challenges for the singers.
