Work Overview
This atmospheric piece was inspired by the composer's visit to 1999 Darwin International Guitar Festival and named after the suburb where the Charles Darwin University is located. It is not programmed music as such however the brush tremolo effect at the opening and closing sections evokes the sound of the breeze in the needles of the casuarina trees that abound in this area.
