Work Overview
The Tell-Tale Heart is a horror short story by Edgar Allan Poe about a murderer and his mental breakdown. It was first published in 1843. The 1928 short film, directed by Charles Klein stars Otto Matieson as The Insane, William Herford as The Old Man and Hans Fuerberg and Charles Darvas as The Detectives. Music by Steven Stanke to accompany Charles Klein's silent film. Available to hire for live to screen performance.
