Work Overview
Low on the Alaskan horizon, nestled between the clouds, water and an outcrop of metamorphic stone the midnight sun ruptures the darkness, splintering the night sky with shards of light. A primal breeze stirs the elements within a small clearing, causing its manifold dimensions to creak, heave and sigh. The field recordings used in the work were recorded on a sheltered stretch deep within the Iditarod Trail.
