Instrumentation: Amplified 16 voice SATB choir, amplified string quartet, fretless electric bass guitar (also playing bass drum with foot pedal), bass clarinet (also playing bass drum with foot pedal), trombone (also playing bass drum with foot pedal), piano (also playing bass drum with foot pedal), percussion (2 players: small & large tam-tam, vibraslap, unresonant cowbell, vibraphone, 2 suspended cymbals, 2 bongos, splash cymbal, bass drum with foot pedal, octopads connected to a synthesizer or sampler, 3 rototoms, 2 maracas).
